The easiest way to salary package your mortgage, rent or personal loan payments!

Salary packaging can seem complicated, with many different options and benefits that help you do more with your money.
We thought we'd run you through perhaps the simplest form of salary packaging using the Mortgage, Rent and Loan benefit options. These benefits have no claiming and little admin work is required; they make salary packaging simple!
Regular long-term expenses: perfect for salary packaging
Paying rent, a mortgage or a personal loan can be a long-term commitment and it means that you can salary package them year-on-year without making any change to your arrangement – which means less admin for you and more time to think about other things.
Best of all, these salary packaged expenses are GST-free, enabling you to get more out of your cap – and even more bang for your buck!
How it works each pay
Maxxia takes your annual cap limit, whether that be for health ($9,010) or charity ($15,900), and we divide it equally across the 26 pays of the FBT year, giving you a regular contribution amount each pay.
We then request this amount from your payroll before-tax each pay, which could reduce your taxable income – and, in turn, boost your disposable income (which is the whole point of salary packaging).
Once we receive this amount from your payroll we’ll reimburse the contribution amount back to your personal bank account each pay. With this option you just leave your current repayment process in place and pay your rent, mortgage or personal loan with your before-tax salary.
With this option we are reimbursing you for the regular payments you are making towards your mortgage/rent/personal loan without the inconvenience to you of making regular claims. As long as your annual repayments cover the annual amount that Maxxia has reimbursed you, then you are good to go.
