Managing your account online during the end of FBT year

End of FBT year is a busy time for everyone. A great way to manage your salary packaging account during this time is by using the Maxxia app or logging onto Maxxia Online. Download the Maxxia app from the App Store or Google Play™, or simply log into Maxxia Online our website.
Here’s a list of features to help you manage your account online.
View your balances
It’s important to keep up to date with your balances as it will give you clarity on how much you may need to claim/spend before 31 March 2024.
It’s also one of the easiest things to check as it’s on the home screen of both the Maxxia app and Maxxia Online.
Your bank details
As we make our final payments this FBT year, it’s vital your bank details are up to date if you receive direct payments from us. To update your bank account details, follow these steps:
- Log in to the Maxxia app
- Tap the menu on the top lefthand corner of the screen and select ‘Profile’
- Select ‘Bank account’
- Enter your bank details in the provided fields and then select ‘Update’
- An SMS code will be sent to your registered mobile phone number. Once received, enter this code in to the field provided and then select ‘Next’.
Send us those final salary packaging claims
Please submit all claims for capped benefits as early as possible via the Maxxia app or Maxxia Online. We recommend that you submit all claims by close of business Monday 25 March 2024.
The Maxxia app is the easiest way to claim – just snap a pic of your receipt wherever you are!
Follow these steps to make a claim in the Maxxia app:
- Select ‘Make a claim’ on the Maxxia app dashboard
- Choose your benefit
- Snap a pic of your receipts
- Enter your claim amount
- Submit
Check your cap with the Maxxia app ‘cap tracker’
The Maxxia app cap tracker* helps you stay in control of your salary packaging funds ahead of the end of the Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) year, with at-a-glance cap information – anytime, anywhere. With clear visuals that show spending and available balances across all your current salary packaging benefits, the cap tracker helps you do more with your money without any hassles.
It’s especially useful as the FBT year draws to a close on 31 March, because once the clock ticks over to 1 April, a new cap limit is allocated and the previous limit can no longer be accessed by spending or claiming. So make sure you get your cap balance to zero to ensure you maximise your tax benefits!
Here’s how to access the Cap Tracker:
- Log in to the app
- From the dashboard, swipe right or tap the menu drawer to reveal the left side menu
- Click ‘Cap Tracker’ to display your account detail(s).
*Cap tracker available to employees with access to FBT exemption cap.
View your novated lease account anytime
With the Maxxia app and Maxxia Online our customers have more self-service opportunities that increase the ease and convenience of novated leasing, including:
- View funds that haven’t been allocated to a benefit or reserved for fees.
- If you have a fully maintained novated lease, you can see your insurance details, policy number, renewal date and payments made in your online account.
- Maxxia Online has more information displayed for fully maintained novated leases, including visibility of annual budgets by expense category (such as maintenance and tyres) and the amounts spent for each category, including the Novated Lease Fuel Tracker.
