“I like having all the [running costs] bundled and the tax minimisation available.”
Justin Lang and Mazda wagons have history. So it was no surprise that when he opted for a novated lease for his latest vehicle upgrade, he settled on a used Mazda6.
“My previous car was another Mazda6 wagon, which I bought new back in 2004,” the Green Industries SA program manager explains. “It was great on the open road, and went everywhere – from road trips for cycling events or on dirt roads for landcare activities.”
As is often the case, Justin first heard about novated leasing through work colleagues, and via Maxxia workplace visits. Interest piqued, he contacted Maxxia directly – and he’s glad he did.
“Their attention to detail and level of advice was outstanding, and together with arranging all the paperwork on a tight timeframe, which was very much appreciated, it was an excellent customer experience.”
Justin says the low-fuss nature of novated leasing swayed him away from a regular personal loan. “I like having all the [running costs] bundled and the tax minimisation available.”
With improved fuel efficiency noticeable from the outset, he’s confident the new car will be as durable as his previous one. “I’m a cyclist first and foremost, so I think this car may see me through to retirement,” he says.
“I’m hoping to have many years of trouble-free country drives.”
